Or douche of the century... And I'm terribly sorry that I don't have pictures. Anyway, somewhere in the outskirts of Atlanta lies an abandoned shopping mall with a huge parking lot often used by joggers, RC enthusiasts, stunt bikers, drifters, etc. So, naturally, I decided to go inside the building (which was awesome, by the way) and what I saw was certainly out of place. Firstly, two sets of glass double doors leading into the former Macy's were completely obliterated and boarded up. But that's just expected of scrappers who don't realize all the maintenance doors are unlocked. On the other side of Macy's, the mall entrance, is another busted out part of the security fence, only this one is complete with tire tracks. All throughout the mall, you can see where someone was peeling out, drifting around corners, and miraculously not hitting anything. It's pretty damned impressive, and I can actually forgive it since the mall is slated for demolition soon. (which is part of why I went to explore it. Gotta tackle the big three, and I already have a hospital down. All that's left now is an amusement park.)

Still, I don't know when it happened. If it was a year or so ago, the mall would have still been just "closed for renovations." They only recently went bankrupt, even though it's been empty since 2010.

I'm heading back out there soon with a camera and a flashlight, and maybe even an RC car. No promises there, though.
